Western Australian Department of Environment (DOE)
Workflow, database and map publication projects
for Land and Waterway management systems
2001-ongoing
The Department of Environment has selected iDelve as their standard
tool for publishing map data for all its new publicly-accessible
spatial web applications.
The Department is committed to excellence in its services to the
community, government and industry in delivering environmental
protection systems and natural resource management to ensure
sustainable development across the State.
(See www.environment.wa.gov.au)
Combined with centralised data administration using the Department's
existing ArcSDE infrastructure, iDelve’s interactivity, intuitiveness
and speed, and its rich but simple-to-configure ‘out of the box’
capability promotes the Department’s goals.
The River Management System is the first of the iDelve-powered
web applications to be released.
River Monitoring System 2004 and
ongoing
The iDelve mapping system enables the Department to widely publish
river level data from telemetered gauging stations across WA.
Website users can quickly browse, locate, view and query near and
distant stations to gain current water level information so they can
monitor flood status of their local rivers.
Map features provide ‘click through’ links to historical trend
information for all stations.

site uses ‘pop-ups’ so remove any blocker installed on your

Native Vegetation Map Viewer
(2005)
Native Vegetation Map Viewer assists the public, business and
government to manage clearing of native vegetation in environmentally
sensitive areas. It is especially useful to companies in the resource
sector whose mining tenements can be visualised clearly on a map in
relation to any clearing restrictions
