Landgate

Transperth has integrated iDelve into their web applications, making travel planning easier for commuters.

iDelve enables Smarttrack to provide real-time mobile asset management solutions to thousands of customers.

Landgate is the statutory authority responsible for Western Australia’s land and property information. It manages the state’s land titles system and provides geospatial information services to the industry, government and the general public.

The Objective

The Share Land Information Platform (SLIP) was developed out of Landgate’s aim to create a single virtual access point for accessing all government spatial data.

The framework required a web mapping system which provided:

  • Integration with a wide range of technologies and spatial data sources
  • Flexible customization with web applications
  • Fast and efficient map viewer, with great usability

iDelve was selected as the map viewing technology for SLIP after a rigorous selection process.

The Outcome.

iDelve has helped Landgate create a world-leading facility that provides benefits to government, industry and public. The SLIP Enabler is a system which provides access to hundreds of datasets and imagery from leading government agencies and industry.

iDelve has also been adopted as the web mapping application standard for Landgate itself.

 

Some of the applications borne out of the SLIP-EF project include:

WA Atlas

The WA Atlas application is provided by Landgate and the Western Australian Land Information Service (WALIS). It enables users to create maps using data from the extensive datasets and imagery available from leading government agencies and industry. Additionally, users are able to dynamically add any available OGC WMS service on the internet.

The Property Finder allows users to easily search for property, purchase imagery and property information online from Landgate.

Interragator+

Interragator+ is a spatial data catalogue with access to over 10,000 metadata records of Western Australia’s geographic information held by public and private sector organisations. It provides users with the ability to discover, view and access datasets through a single online environment.
